On ‘Star Wars’ and Cooperate taxes as well on the matter of Oboy and the powers winning because of the powers that be picking Romney & Perry I sadly concur. On the rest I'll go a bit further and suggest these steps.
Cut Congress's pay down to a realistic $50,000 a year, cut their cushy health and retirement benefits and tons of freebies these elitist have that We The People, the ones they serve do not have. I say they should get the health care our military does; maybe our military would get some true health care and respect.
Cut all foreign aid; I'm a sorry folks. We are broke, the world is broke, and we too have hungry mouths to feed. This includes cutting back to realistic levels on any financial help to Briton, Israel & Japan.
No more federal dollars to extended unemployment benefits I agree with Herman Cain when he said about extended unemployment, 'let's call what it is, it's welfare.' I find the statistics that most find a job within weeks of the end of their unemployment benefits very telling.
Stop All Bailouts! A business is a business, private owned and government owned, a failure is a tell of a badly run or unneeded business. If they fail there is a reason, if it's needed the private sector will pick it and usually run it better.
Public education, let it fail; see the above.
No more government departments that harbor, infest, interfere or prop up and restrict any business that are outdated, ineffective and/or in red; most of these are very much out-of-control in power and staff. Cut back, simplify or just cut these expensive agencies, bureaus and departments that are hurting We The People; such as: Agriculture, ATF, Education, Energy, IRS, ...
Rid ourselves of stupid and out-dated laws that accomplish nothing and enforce the laws that make a difference. Stop arresting, prosecuting and housing people for smoking pot and all of the other bullshit laws that are a waste of manpower, money and time. What has the war on drugs done but get people cost insanely amounts of money, get people killed, create prison populations and create kingpins and cartels?
Stop all money to illegal immigrants, I mean all money except for bus fare or airfare back home; make them come into the US legally. This is better for them and US. Sure it will cost a bunch, but it's a hell of lot cheaper than what we are doing now; this is an extremely simple problem to fix, I’m tired of all the bullshit over it. They are here illegally! What we are spending on the loss of jobs, UD dollars going out of country, healthcare and housing for illegals in jails and prisons would pay for their return and we would still come out way ahead, especially in long run. Simple solutions? Arrest and fine all business that hire illegal immigrants including making thempay the expense of sending these people home; a third conviction should mean the loss right to own that business. Make these fines huge as to deter these businesses from even thinking about it. Stop the anchor baby bullshit too, that law was created for newly freed slaves to insure they were recognized as citizens.
I could on and on, but none of needs this and most already know most of this. We need a big serious dose of simplicity in way Common Sense, Logic and Reason; three of my all-time favorites.
