Our pols tell us they are "warning" the Chinese about keeping their currency artifically low but we cannot issue any meaningful ultimatums because we are deeply indebted to China for borrowing so much $$$ from them to pay for 2 wars in order to keep the cost of those wars off the books. So American jobs - especially mfg jobs - will continue to disappear and our pols will continue to promise if we just vote for them, they will "grow" jobs.
With 14 million Americans out of work, it just amazes me that we have been so tolerant of politically-motivated meaningless promises...Perhaps we're just waiting until China actually does become "our boss"?
