At least the level 1 to 3 bashers use arguments that can be checked, and usually discounted after careful analysis. Thus, their motives are obvious. Worse, IMO, is this alsoer chicken little dude, who jumps up and down when the SP moves down, and starts screaming bloody murder when it drops. He claims to have held the stock for many years, thus should have made a tidy profit by now. So his only motivation for bashing the stock can be that he sold and wants to get back in. And some even give him enough credit to console him when he goes of on one of his depressive rantings. There may be others of his ilk that are less obnoxious and probably more efficient, and he is only one example.

But I agree with you that there seem to be quite a few "longs" who have ulterior motives when they post.
