Story is coming from a wacko named Kenneth Timmerman that is making the rounds pushing his book "Count Down to Crisis"--Fox lapped it up. Maybe Timmerman is actually but hired pen by the WH---i believe these fellows are quite capable of doing such.
Whatever he is out doing his bit to build a mass hate Iran paranoia--right in line with the Bush regime wishes.

<<Tonight's guest is Kenneth Timmerman, author of Countdown to Crisis. Timmerman as a guest continues The Daily Show's streak of talking about places we'll probably bomb soon. Stewart says that Timmerman's book is the most persuasive and most frightening about this subject. In the book, he claims that Iran is the most threatening country when it comes to terrorism. They've been murdering Americans as well as people in Iraq and they're on the verge of having nuclear weapons capability. Timmerman says that the actual Iranian people love America though. Stewart stares and then realizes, "So... the flags there are burning spontaneously!" Actually, Timmerman says that the flag burnings are staged and simple propoganda. According to a poll of Iranians (those actually in Iran), 74% actually believe that the military presence in Iraq will effectively bring Democracy. Unfortunately, Timmerman claims that Iran has a clearer tie to Al-Qaeda than Iraq. One of his inside sources for the book was an eye-witness to Osama bin Laden's people planning 9/11 in Iran. He believes bin Laden is still in Iran, old, frail, sick, and planning future attacks. What a lovely way to end the interview. I'm going to hide under my bed now... the bed in the bomb shelter.
