Ive received share certificates in the past from a few different companies.

That is how I interpret it and it would be a piece of paper usually with a seal and the number of shares will be listed on the paper you then can or would deposit them into your brokerage account by mailing them to your broker for deposit or stopping into a local branch office

I will be visiting my Local Mr. Charles Schwab

So you would need to be a shareholder end of day tomorrow it appears so when the transfer agent pulls numbers on 9/16/11 you show up.
