I've been a lurker on here but wanted to share this for what it's worth. Trying to connect the dots on the info about the smelter. In Torreon, on the southwest side there is a "Metalurgica". Check this out on Google Earth: 25 deg, 30 min, 45.03 sec North and 103 deg, 26 min, 58.17 West.

I believe the Gallode Oro to be very near:
22* 19' 21.24" N
105* 21' 32.20" W

As the crow flies 260 miles, maybe 325 via roads???

So how did we get 18 hours and then 1800 miles for the trip to the smelter? I could see 18 hours round trip via a truck. I'm confused.

OBtw I was in at .130 and out at .139
