at two sites about 1,200 kilometres apart

• The mine & concentrator has
been constructed at Voisey’s
Bay.

• The hydromet demonstration
plant has been built in
Argentia, Newfoundland.
The commercial plant will be
built in Long Harbour,
Newfoundland.


• Both sites require extensive
infrastructure such as port
facilities, power supply, water
supply and roads

• At Voisey’s Bay an airport and
accommodation complex was
developed
