iMmINeNt RApTUre -- it's not that you have a certain faith, beyond/in at least some sense regardless of fact, science and evidence-based knowledge that doesn't or might not readily fit tenets of that faith, in the affirmative sense; that's fine, of course (and I know you don't need me to say that)
it's the defensive negative counterpart -- which is actually gratuitous, in no way objectively needed for folks of faith to continue right on being fully free and able to keep right on with their faith, and thus as it does exist coming from folks of faith constitutes the direct manifestation of a deep and profoundly presumtuous intolerance by folks of faith of other views of things and those who hold to those rather than the precious tenets (hardly a new thing, of course) -- attacking fact, science and evidence-based knowledge that doesn't or might not readily fit the tenets, and doing so not with/by means of any reason or basis in reality, by any valid argument, but instead with/by means of intellectually flat-fucking-shorted-out hysterical, wildly impudently judgmental and authoritarian, and thoroughgoingly grotesquely dishonest, bullshit and hucksterism
