I'm reading on the yahoo board that the GPS is always on, not just when driving, and iphone battery life is about 4-6 hrs. Some who have tried it out said they had to uninstall it. Anyone know if this battery issue is true, and most inportant, will the pro version of PG have the same issues or is there a fix for this battery issue? And it's not plugging in to a charger. Many people at work, school, or just out and about don't have their phones plugged into a charger constantly. I work 12 hr shifts and my phone has to stay hidden in my pocket the entire time and so to answer a call I have to discretely step away in private-so can't have my phone on a charger. I charge up my phone about every 3 days.
Parents buy their kids phones mostly so they can get in touch with them anytime. They don't want their kids battery draining in 4 hrs. I'm not being negative but rather asking if anyone has info to this problem, and most importantly, will the for-sale pro version of PG have a solution to this? It would seem silly the company hasn't addressed this issue. I know some here have PG already installed on their phones.
