Pink or Non-Pink?

I'd like to talk about the "mentality" of investing in Pinks, from my point of view.
In life, we have a choice between two things - "hope" or "security" -
It's the same with Pinks" or "Non-Pinks"
Pinks are "hope"
Non-Pinks are "security" (sometimes - lol)
For "hope", one lives in the "present" - as we are seeing right now with $EMXC - the "present" situation is incredibly exciting, and escalates and accelerates on a daily basis - every day is the new "present".
"Security" - these are my Blue Chip investments - funds, CD's, college funds for my kids - these are companies with a "history".
Big Blue was, is, and will be - (true, we have seen some blue chips disintegrate) basically these are the stocks with a "history"

"Pink" stocks do NOT have a history for me - I would NEVER invest in a Pink stock because of its history.
Period.
"Hope" is the key word for me for Pinks - and the % of my investment portfolio corresponds accordingly.
Who are the "hopeful, the dreamers?" Read through the posts - they SCREAM out at you. They see what COULD be, what MIGHT happen, and invest in that.
Who are the "non-dreamers"? IMO, these are the ones who look 3-5 years back, and cannot see the possibility of what is unfolding before our eyes in the "present".
For me, no hope equals unhappy - these unhappy peeps have one thing in common - a deep wound suffered long ago - hurt pride? wish that didn't come true? a love not returned? etc.
The happy man puts these things behind him and looks forward to what is coming.
I firmly believe that if you can NOT put history behind you, then you should NOT invest in the Pinks, including our zip-code changer, $EMXC!
