gfp: I am familiar with the term. There is very little common ground between true conservatives and true liberals. It would take a revolution for them to join forces against the Bankster Elite. Conservative fiscal policies work. Liberal Keynesian policies fail. They have always failed. Read "The Forgotten Man" about the Great Depression. Roosevelt's policies extended the Depression far longer than necessary. The best government is one that preserves property rights and law and order, maintains a strong defense in an uncertain world, defends its borders, and spends taxpayer money prudently and only for those government functions that are essential. Which means the authorities in California can leave the lemon aid stands alone and go about arresting actual criminals.
