Neuro, You are paid only if a deal happens, but it still seems risky to own shares in any of the participants, since it could be argued that you had inside information. As an intermediary pitchman for deals, and with financial compensation from the company if a deal happens, that would seem to make having a stock position in the company a risky proposition.

That said, I'm glad you were able to help bring Cortex and Biovail together :o)
