Once the early drop didn't hold it was time to bail on short plays if you hadn't already done so on Aug 9th after we had hit the 1101 intermediate bottom in the S&P. With Bernanke's hints at further stimulus the market bias will be to the upside until the Fed's September FOMC meeting. As I've said I think the S&P has another grinding 100-140 point rise possible before the next fall out, unless Europe really starts to collapse. And stay away from GLD. All it takes are a series of margin hikes and doen goes GLD.
