Never could find an email address for Honda, so I ended up emailing the dealer I bought the bike from and who has it currently.

I ran into a guy at the track this weekend who has a 2004. He happened to ask how I'm liking my Wing at the same time I was asking someone for some Advil. When I heard his question about my bike, I turned to the other guy and said "On that note, make it 4 instead of 2."

He's just as pissed about the Wing as I am. And he's talking class-action. On the grounds that any 2003-2004 Gold Wing got the hell whacked out of its resale value because of this recall. He told me a friend of his recently took $7k for his because it was all he could get. For a 2-year old bike that cost $18k new. The 03/04 has definitely gotten a royally bad (and well-deserved) reputation. We lost several thousand dollars of value because of a manufacturing defect.
