ombow: Do you really think that sending 30 Navy Seals into a hostile valley in an obsolete slow helicopter was just a tactical error by some mid level officer? Do you really think it was just bad luck? We'll probably never know the real story but the circumstances are highly suspicious, and frankly I don't trust our government one iota.
Also, what are your thoughts on what happened to the rating agency S&P? Within weeks of downgrading US debt the Justice Dept files an action against them and the CEO is ousted. Another set of coincidences?
Look at the Elliot Spitzer case. The creep was banging hookers for years. He starts to go after some Wall Streeters as NY's attorney general and seems destined to become Governor. All of a sudden he gets exposed banging a hooker. Coincidence?
I could site other examples. Almost nothing our government says or does can be taken at face value. They falsify stories (ie Jessica Lynch), falsify evidence (ie WMD's in Iraq), set up "suicides" (ie Vince Foster), set up plane crashes (ie Ron Brown), shoot planes out of the sky and blame compressed gas canisters (the Airline that went down over Long Island Sound)...they make up phony statistics on unemployment, GDP, inflation, etc. Our government has become such a Crony Capitalist Kleptocracy it is no wonder we are fast becoming a Banana Republic in more ways than one. You can swallow their lies and propaganda if you choose to. I don't intend to.
