MartyMac, Nokia's new sensor switch creates personal web pages on their mobile phones complete with text and graphics and allows the user to exchange these with other phones. It essentially turns handsets into wireless Web servers.
According to Nokia spokeswoman Marika Kojo: "This is a totally new way of communicating with people in the same location. You can check out people before you meet them in a bar or restaurant or wherever. It's very spontaneous. It's also free communication."
I can't believe the amount of positive and dramatic changes that have taken place in the wireless communications arena in such a short period of time. The magnitude of these types of changes and the velocity at which they are occuring is truly unprecedent.
