Yeppers. When it comes to crossings, I seem to have more balls than brains, and muchos luck.

Crossed the Gulf Stream 4 times now, Miami/Bahamas, with no more DD than getting up early, usually hung over, looking at the sky, and saying...looks good to me, let's go...pure luck, was like a mill pond each time.

LOL, first time, New Year's Day, using SatNav which was brand new, we even found Bimini, in the dark, through the reef, with the Satnav gizmo programmed for feet instead of meters (geez we killed a bottle of Scotch setting it up at about 2am)...it was miles out, but our dead reckoning...was dead on.
