looking at the pics, all I could find, there is a CFL or/and Greenhouse method mix or separate. The heart of my intrest lies in the 50x statements earlier Pr'd.
Knowing C02, specific light frequency, individual plant species requirements...even such exotic applications such as ultrasonics, magnetics, non-neutonion fluid dynamics, seperation of pressure gradients, the various hydroponics applications, specialized nutrements... it all ALL depends on Energy in, substance out.. as a plant is nothing more than a solar cell. Even by using energy without light(some species are capable) energy, energy energy.
Energy cost for a described area, sq. ft. cubic ft. whatever,,, dead horse,lol...energy.
Some of the discerned info suggests cooler climes, to take advantage of dumping heat from artificial light, into the enviroment without mechanical cooling from putting so much energy into an enclosed space.. but 50x? Almost anyone can get 5x, judicious application of resources maybe 10x,, throw enough money mayyyybeee 15x on specific species.
As I said,, no one is using a light collection method and directing to an enclosed space.. which is the only way I can see increasing available energy without ongoing costs for the energy.
