Vapor Barrier question:
Is there any reason NOT to have vapor barrier in the crawl space? Specifics: south east, summer humid, Wood frame, just over a foot clearance.
My sister's house... an electrician told her if it wasn't built with a barrier she should not add one. House is about 50 years old. Not sure if there is insulation under the floor or if it matters. Any help would be appreciated.
