One must assume that the excutor would fulfill his fiduciary duty to preserve and maintain assets. There would be nothing to gain by creating a situation in which the value of the entire holding collapses due to actions of the executor. In fact, such action or inaction would lay the executor open to legal liability for recovery of the value.
