Of course the likely outcome is rkrw is right and they (at least Halozyme) will just keep talking about it all of next year too
That could be the case for both of them, of course. If BIOD was about out of cash, I probably wouldn't be willing to roll the dice with a position here. But, given that they've guided for having cash till March 2013 and the potential for a big pharma deal here at a ~$50M market cap, I figure it's worth a gamble. If no partnering deal, they should at least have the funds to run at least one Phase 2 trial of one of the analogs or RHI formulations.
