I guess I choose to simplify. Supply and demand are the most reliable indicators of any transaction, especially over an extended period. If the price falls, it lacks demand or there's too much supply. I prefer to ignore peripheral info since it only clouds my analysis.

True, things do change, but not always for the better and I refrain from launching into concocted reasons of my own as they would not serve my investment here.

As to management changing their mind, we were not privy to enough information for me to draw any other conclusion. I'd love to be proven wrong on the botched buyout but somehow, I'm sure management had more information on it than I do. I can only speculate based on the results and those aren't pretty as they are still being played out. i.e. lack of credibility of subsequent PRs.

Dangling the carrot once too many times may have had the effect of putting this otherwise strong performing company in a negative light.

I suppose time and positive changes might change that perception but again, that can and should only be attributed to lack of foresight on the part of management, willful ignorance or incompetence. Either way, we're all paying for it.

Believe me, when they get it right, I'll be the first to the mountaintop to sing their praises. For now, I'm less than impressed.
