Actually ment the whole company. I believe they were a Genentech spinoff or at least it was started by a bunch of empoyees.

I believe it was actually started by a bunch of ex-AMGN employees. I'd honestly be surprised if they got acquired just because a potential acquirer would have to split the pie with a bunch of other mouths. I'd love to be proven wrong, of course.

My being on the fence is in part that things furherest slong are in phase 2 still a bit away from income producing royalties. Have a bunch of debt still and even with the cuts burn is still too high IMO. I wouldn't be suprised if they sell a royalty or two and not sure how I'd feel about that.

I think near-term valuation is just going to be extremely dependent on the MEK combo data due in the next few months. If they show OS benefit in the trials, particularly in the KRAS NSCLC trial, I think they will be in great shape. Conversely, if data is bad, it will certainly get cheaper. I'm willing to hold through these key binary events, though, because I feel valuation is so low, there are so many other numerous shots on goal, and given the fact that we already have some validation for MEK as a target from other companies in the space, such as GSK. The recent insider buying doesn't hurt either IMHO.
