sideeki -- make sure he's got in place a vice president who won't raze Texas to force it back into the Union when said veep becomes president because Perry is out as no longer a natural-born citizen

of course if he still wanted to be president Perry could alternatively have a veep who would raze Texas to force it back into the Union, whereupon Perry would become president again (provided his term hadn't run out in the meantime) upon razed Texas's being forced back into the Union
