and your god would have surely condemned conservatives for trying to deny women the right to vote in the early 1900's as well as opposing child labor laws enacted back then. Even today we have conservatives saying those child labor laws should be a states issue and not a federal issue - see recent Sen from Utah and also Maine teaparty and republican legislature passing the Maine law which said teenagers could be paid less than minimum wage.
