I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd rather they do grass roots fund raising and not be beholding to special interests... otherwise there is really only one party.

Without some better leadership, the Dems are going to have a hard time. They need a Barbara Boxer or Barack Obama... someone willing to stick their neck out.
