food4: I have some losses to make up as well. I was too early for sure. Sometimes knowledge can be just as dangerous as having absolutely no clue. I knew and continue to believe that the markets are setting up for a generational bear market of epic proportions. But Bernanke's crew managed to juice the markets artificially far longer and to much higher levels than I anticipated. But we've never had a Fed practice this level of intervention and manipulation so I had no precedent to go on in my analysis. But it was a learning experience. But I take some solace in the knowledge that all of Bernanke's actions only help temporarily and that eventually those actions will make things far worse in the long run. And my short plays will finally continue to periodically make me some money.
