In case you didn't notice, the failure to pass a balanced budget requirement ...i.e. the 'long term' strategy that was referred to by teh S&P ..... was one of the main sticking points ... and we 'terrorists' were insisting on a balanced budget requirement, if you recall ... or did you conveniently forget that part?

BTW, Harry Reid drafted up the bill that was finally passed .... not republicans.

I'd certainly think, were I in your shoes and trying so furiously to discredit something ... I'd probably have done my research first.

Knowing what it is that's being talked about gives one's words a lot more weight.
