While clean renewable energy sources are the future, we must begin to fully utilize the fossil fuel assets that lie within our borders. Starting today, I have signed an Executive order preempting the EPA from blocking immediate exploration and development of our assets. In addtion, we will be collection a 2% royalty on all newly developed assests and this fund will go directly into a new government grant program for R&D of new clean renewables.
