Fights over the budget have just begun...Pinetta does tend to speak off-the-cuff, but as Sec'ty of Def he's going to have to measure his words more carefully; unless the WH is on board with Pinetta's comments, it only adds to doubts that certain sacred cows will be spared when it comes to budget cuts - the Def Dept has ALWAYS been a sacred cow.
I've always liked Congressman Barney Frank...he's a thorn in the side of Repubs because he tells it like it is - he's a NY-born straight talker!...take this line from him for example - I'll never be Speaker of the House because I'm fat, I'm Jewish, and I'm gay.
