That's cause many people also buy into the religious mumbo jumbo because they don't really want to think for themselves. A belief in a deity is one thing - to actually think you know what he has said and judge others accordingly is another thing entirely. Just looks at the posters who support this war and Bush. Do you really think they can have an intelligent conversation with you about most of the policies this administration has tried to implement? There are very few here who can really understand the implications of his policies and they only parrot Fox news or the Admin talking points.

As an aside they did a study and of all the news sources (cable, TV, radio, and print) where the people primarily stated they got their news Fox News viewers were the least informed about current events - especially the Iraq war and 9-11.
