hi..i've had trouble before with large orders...i usually just place a market order for 10-15k shares..let it execute.. (takes a couple minutes with zecco) and then i place the market order all over again until filled...i only pay $6.95/trade, so i think insignificant in scheme of things...smky shares can be tough to obtain..holders are exactly that-Holders!! i've never been "taken" yet by placing the market orders, so be comfortable...but, if i did place market order, check every couple minutes to make sure that price has not jumped considerably.. glty...i'm waiting for another bankwire, so i'll back you up in a few days.lol! bought another 12k yesterday.
