fuagf -- that built entirely on the assertions of a psychiatric nurse speaking way beyond his area in his quite simply denying and ignoring the relevance/significance of the broader context -- effectively blank of substantive understanding of social/political realities and how they work, in particular far-right movements and ideologies, how they come to power and what they do to get there -- Kreivik is anything but irrelevant to, in fact is precisely ultimately emblematic of, far-right movements and ideologies, how they come to power and what they do to get there
where hardcore Islamists, as their own variant of theocratic absolutists, are themselves far-right, and similarly key to setting loose their own respective terrorists, of course
also -- Neame's seeming enthusiasm for just institutionalizing even folks who haven't acted out is, in particular absent reference to some solid substantive understanding of social/political reality, disturbing -- just one short step for a far-right, i.e. authoritarian ideologically based and sustained, government to declare views other than views it prefers "paranoid" -- then "for their own protection", and so forth -- . . .
thanks for that one, good and relevant, just giving my reaction to it
