*USPIX vs. URPIX - Regarding the outperformance of the USPIX vs. the URPIX from #msg-6571356, to make this short & simple, I basically think this is true because the Nasdaq Composite or the technology stocks are leaders in the markets. So to have a legitimate bear market, it's true that the Nasdaq will outperform the S&P 500 to the downside while in a legitimate bull run, the same would be true and usually is. I think a lot of this has to do with the markets being rather speculative & many tech issues can be lumped into the speculative arena.

People seem more inclined to hop out of a technology stock like Cisco during a bear raid then they would be to hop into a "blue-chip" stock during a bull surge... make sense?
