Few people probably know why UC took the 5th amendment at the moment.
Until more light is cast on CMKX there is probably many reasons why UC took the 5th. Bet his Counsel adviced him to take it

There is, literally, no other reason to take it.

That is the pure essence of the fifth amendment. Its sole purpose was to instruct that a person could not be compelled to testify if that testimony would incriminate them. The ONLY reason someone takes the fifth is because what they would be required to divulge would incriminate them.
