It seems more likely with a story like that. Mid-2006 is around the time that Intel will be ramping quickly dual core chips. I wonder if it will be Yonah or Presler, though. Either way, it will be a good time for Apple to transition. Good job to Intel for the design win. It might be a good time to buy a Mac.
