Try this again minus a word or two
I was in attendance last night as well.
It’s just a shame that no matter what I say I think the price will drop today on nothing but fear. What I saw last night was a start up company doing everything they set out to do. They now have 30 employees, a brand new facility with a 10 YEAR LEASE and some great green products. The LED street lights save 80% on energy costs over standard street lights. There are many cost effective applications for the Eco Pole because they don’t require hard wiring.
Its true most speakers did not show up through no fault of SAVW. We all know politicians are a fickle bunch and they will cancel any appearance do to the slightest controversy real or imagined, I say shame on them.
Thanks to Kathy Magruder, Executive Director of the Maryland Clean Energy Center for having the guts to not only attend, but to give SAVW a check for $26,000 to install 1 Eco Pole in front of the MD Science Center, slated to be installed in October.
I know we all wanted to hear about big contracts at the opening but large contracts, especially government contract take time to develop and come to fruition. I have no doubt that they will.
