Mr. Sym is a graduate of Boston University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Management before attending graduate school at Harvard University. Prior to Evermedia Biometrics, Mr. Sym worked as a Financial Consultant for Merrill Lynch and other companies in the management and investment consulting industry. Lieutenant Commander Sym received his commission in the U.S. Navy in 1999 and was recalled to active duty in 2003 and deployed to serve with NATO forces in support of Kosovo Operations and to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Mr. Sym oversees all operations of the company including corporate finance, government affairs, mergers and acquisitions, and business development. He continues to serve in the Navy Reserve and resides in Boston, MA.
Richard Weitzel
President/Board Member
Mr. Weitzel received his Bachelors degree from the University of Texas, Austin and his MBA from the University of Southern California. He is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and the CEO of System Technology Solutions, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in defense contracting and has managed contracts with numerous U.S. military agencies, Fortune 500 defense contractors and several Department of Defense entities. Mr. Weitzel possesses a Top Secret Clearance.
Patricia Waldroop
Corporate Secretary
Ms. Waldroop received her Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) degree and attended graduate school at the University of Texas, San Antonio. Her expertise in government and federal contracts is extensive, having served in financial management and contract analysis for over 10 years. She is familiar with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements and has participated in DCAA audits. She possesses a Top Secret Clearance (PR).
Alex Nicoll
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Nicoll joined Evermedia Biometrics as CTO in April 2009 contributing an impressive technical fluency relating to several areas of engineering and information technology. He will oversee the company’s research efforts as well as the development of ID management and security applications. Mr. Nicoll previously held positions such as Associate Director of Technology of the Nebraska University Consortium for Information Assurance, and Senior Systems Engineer for BAE Systems, Inc. He has lectured on subjects such as vulnerability analysis, secure systems architecture, risk management and computer network defense. Mr. Nicoll graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
Robert Grannatt
Operations Officer
Operations Manager to Evermedia Biometrics and its affiliated companies, Mr. Grannatt’s primary responsibilities include managing human resources requirements, developing strategic communications and maintaining investor relations. Additionally, he manages the daily administration and operations of the company. Mr. Grannatt is a graduate of Hamilton College where he received his Bachelors in Economics before pursing post graduate studies at the New England School of Law.
Thomas Clarke

Mr. Clarke is the Chief of Contracting for the California State Military Department (Army and Air National Guard) as well as the Deputy Chief of Purchasing and Contracting. He was also the Deputy Chief of Federal Contracting from 1998-2003. Throughout his career in Federal and State contracting, Mr. Clarke has negotiated and administered in excess of $200 million in contracts. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the California State University at Long Beach and a Master of Arts degree from San Jose State University. Mr. Clarke is also a Chief Warrant Officer in the California National Guard.
John Hotek

Major Hotek currently serves on Active Duty in the United States Army as a Multifunctional Logistics Officer. Having served in a myriad of joint military and Special Operations assignments, he specializes in the provision of tactical, counterinsurgency logistics support. He has an extensive background in supply chain, strategic planning, government procurement practices, and process improvement. Prior to returning to Active Duty in 2006, Major Hotek worked for GE Energy from 2001-2005 where he supervised the international supply chain activity and manufacturing process for a commodity valued in excess of $100 million. He is a combat veteran and decorated member of the U.S. Army Logistics Corps, having endured three tours in Afghanistan as well as a deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Mr. Hotek received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University.

Mr. Chalmers received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Harvard College and received his law degree from Columbia University as well as an MBA from New York University. He began his law career as an Associate with Cravath, Swaine and Moore, LLP in New York City and has worked for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as well as several other financial organizations. He has been in private practice for over 10 years, counseling several private and public companies throughout the United States. In addition to his legal work, he is a nationally recognized artist and painter.

Mr. Godbout received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Boston College and received his law degree from Suffolk University. He has been practicing law for over 25 years.
