I believe, and always had since the announcement that we got 50% of the 50% that OPIC relinquished. OPIC got an 8200 sq km Chari-Quest Block concession from Chad. The Chari-Quest III concession that ERHC received from Chad is 4500 sq km or just about 55% of the initial 8200 sq km block. What I am looking forward to is discovering who got the other 50% of the relinquished acreage. Further, just because the acreage is relinquished doesn't mean its not great acreage, its acreage near multiple discoveries in billion barrel fields, its acreage from a field that has already been proven and has commercially proven reserves, if OPIC didn't have to relinquish the acreage it wouldn't have, and even if the acreage just yields 50 million barrels, that's big-time commercial for onshore next to a pipeline to boot. I don't know why everyone thinks that just because a company relinquishes acreage that they're compelled to do by the host country that the acreage isn't prospective, its what countries do, they hope there is finds in the blocks they license and put the relinquishment clauses in PSCs as standard practice so they can re-license the relinquished acreage to other oil companies so they'll move a head, find oil and pump it out of the ground rather than having the initial oil companies who received the blocks move at a snails pace looking for more oil in the blocks once they've found some. I can see why Ntephe is so excited, I'm really excited as well, and any finds of commercial oil in that block will be huge for ERHC and the share price.
