Best way to be - humble and strong minded. Same with me, I do not have to impress anyone but myself. Although we differ in family as where my parents had bad financial losses due to bad business decisions. Not that they were rich, they just were comfortable at one time. It was and is - not a great experience to drop in a living standard.
I also can count my true friends on one hand. I never did anything to make anyone like me as a friend... drugs, party's, drinking, etc. Popular to me was meaningless and still is today. Having my own mind, not following current music, shows, and hollywood has kept me drug free, record (criminal) free, disease free, and smarter than any of the followers I went to school with all those years.
