The "Chad Option Agreement" had nothing to do with Energem's agreement with Chad, but rather with Energem's attempt to spin off a few of of its subsidiaries into a new publicly traded AIM listed company called First Africa Oil. In the transaction First Africa Oil had the option to purchase all of the issued capital of Energem's subsidiary "Energem Chad."
