Well Krueger's position is something is not material if OC traded the securities while the hedge funds knew the information but the public did not. Walrath said at the last hearing that she would be the one who determined what is material. She doesn't care about these two witnesses legal conclusion as to what was material and what was not. I think the ec asked the questions to destroy the witnesses credibility in Walrath's eyes, and the ec did so.
