At this point I'm sure the judge just wants to end this. She has already approved the basics of the settlement months ago.
The last sticking point seems to be the insider trading issue against the hedge funds.
That really isn't an issue for the BK court but the SEC and a different court. I really don't think she wants to get involved in a case that is out of her realm and jurisdiction.
The EC can always sue the funds separately and the recent agreement gave them the cash to do that.
This latest objection is absurd. Just a waste of lawyers fees.
