It is not an argument that can be proven unless we can interview the actual buyers. Your saying its because of the technicals, I believe the technicals are happening because of the anticipation of news. (my limited test group has bought 5 million shares over the past few weeks on anticipation of news)
The news itself will only be useful if it attracts new investors or additional investments from present investors, which is unlikley IMHO. Otherwise it's may cause selling.
So there is no argument as it can't be proven wither way. But to insinuate that others are wrong when it can't be proven either way is not something to gloat and belittle others about imho.
