Hi Irena, I was laughing out loud first thing this morning when I read the leader into your post! It's become kind of a nickname for low p/e stocks with some potential for growth. (I see that Reid has answered that in a much more flattering way!)
You are very wise to plan on leaving Florida in the summer. The heat and humidity then can be appalling. I still miss New England, though I've been in California for almost 15 years.
Yeah, I've spent a good part of the last two summers in the Florida heat-- and I can tell you, most of it was spent indoors! Yikes! I, too, have been in CA for a while (23 years!), and have never gotten over nostalgic thoughts of New England in the fall. The fall is actually the worst season in San Diego, with those hot, dry Santa Ana winds that come blowing off the Mojave each year. I spent a lot of time in New England (NH and ME) growing up, and I'm looking forward to making it a part of my life again!
