Welcome aboard pepdrug1, one thing I have never mentioned on this thread... for stocks trading, the 5 min HOD and LOD works better with parameters 21 on both ADX and DMIs. The one on BigCharts has parameters 14, which work better with indexes.

I don't know much about Elliott Wave theories... I do know some simple wave counts, that's about it. I figure it's too vague sometimes and kinda time consuming. I don't need this tool to figure out what might happen next. So it's just one tool I'm giving up on right now, as I don't think it's essential to me at the moment. I did open that PDF file, but I figure I could be more constructive if I would just check the chart patterns... I will try to post something about it later tonight.

I trade INTC all day, nailed the LOD today in the morning sell off, but took my profit way too early... what stocks do you trade? Please feel free to post your thoughts here, though we are focusing on the index trading issues here.

That Longwaves thread is kinda funny, where did you know about that thread?
