AMYZF - A couple of questions?

I am actually rather intrigued so far by reading a couple of things and a couple of posts, but have not really begun any research on it.

How did they come upon all this resource that they are supposed to be able to extract?

How are they getting the funds to proceed?

At first glance, I am intrigued, but it also looks like a too good to be true scenario. I saw it stated where someone state that they will have the opportunity to become the largest producer of manganese and have no competition in the U.S. I only question because I have seen many things where so much is stated. Again, I have done just about zero research, so I apologize if the skepticism is unwarranted, but I think it looks like it is worth doing more extensive research on it. Thanks.
