If I had to wildly guess, I would guess there has not been a single DOW component that has gone up 12 straight days in many years. It is just almost impossible to do. Thus, I suspect there is no sample to work with. However, having said that, I don't know that I think the odds are below 50% of day #13 being positive. I'm less inclined to have confidence about day #13 either way then I am about days 13-20 as a group. Of course, in this particular case, with my predisposition toward the EOTWAWKI, I'm more interested in days 13-385.

I have a bet on the VMC board that Intel will hit $25 before it hits $30, but of course, I'm inclined to infer much broader implications to this present mania than just whether INTC hits $25 before it hits $30.
