Wizzard Media announced it is seeing a 26% increase in average weekly signups in 2011 vs. average weekly signups for 2010. In addition, Wizzard's premier podcast distribution and monetization platform Libsyn.com has seen average weekly client account revenues increase 27% for 2011 vs. 2010
PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wizzard Media (NYSE Amex: WZE), the world’s leading podcast network, today announced that it now has more than 925 Android Apps just hours after Google Android chief Andy Rubin said through his Twitter account that more than 500,000 Android devices are activated each day worldwide.
Wizzard sells its Android Podcast Apps via Google Marketplace and Amazon Appstore, and has grown its Android App count by over 102% from the end of the 1st quarter to the end of the 2nd quarter.
Other podcast App milestones announced by Wizzard Media today include growing from 13 Android Apps in the Amazon Appstore at the end of Q1 to over 413 available for sale in the Amazon Appstore at the end of Q2. Wizzard ended the second quarter with a total of 1,751 mobile Apps, up 52% from 1,154 at the end of the first quarter.
