syl, The "freedom fighter" argument surrounds the US Embassey bombings, the attack on the USS Cole, and the 9/11 attacks - targeting diplomatic, military and capitalist infrastructure. The "freedom fighter" argument is mute tho, because the attacks were timed to increase civilian casualties, and because civilian aircraft was used. But the propaganda machine continues on..... And before you know it, we are personally responsible for everything that is wrong in the world, and personally responsible for every terrorist act committed against every innocent civilian in the world... Propaganda is an amazing thing because the lie becomes real.....

syl, The argument that the attack on the Pentagon was strike on a military target and therefore "fair game" in war seems to have merit - until one considers the fact that the civilian aircraft used to attack the Pentagon was full of underprivileged American 11 year olds going on a National Geographic sponsored trip. 9/11 Strike on the Pentagon, "terrorist" or "freedom figher"?...
